Michael Luskin is a 1977 graduate of Harvard Law School.  He concentrates in bankruptcy litigation.  He is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), the New York State Bar Association (where he co-chairs the Creditors’ Rights and Banking Litigation Committee of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (where he previously served on the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Committee), The American Bankruptcy Institute (where he co-chaired the ABI's 2006 and 2007 New York City Bankruptcy Conferences), and the Federal Bar Council. Richard Stern is a 1979 graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he was a senior editor of the Law Review.  After law school, he was law clerk to Bankruptcy Judge Cecelia H. Goetz.  He has lectured and written on debtor-in-possession financing for the Practising Law Institute, and is a member of the New York State and American Bar Associations and a member of the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Nathan M. Eisler is a 1983 cum laude graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.  After law school, he was law clerk to Bankruptcy Judge Howard Schwartzberg.  He was a contributing editor of Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice and the Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law, lectures on lender liability and bankruptcy topics and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (where he serves on the Structured Finance Committee and lectured at the Association's 2008 program on the effect of subprime loan defaults on the structured finance industry). Patrick Gartland is a 1999 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review.  He was an associate in the banking department of Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP and then at Luskin, Stern & Eisler before becoming a partner in 2008. Robert P. Blank is a 1973 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he co‑authored “Variable Life Insurance and the Federal Securities Laws,” published in 1974 in the Virginia Law Review.  After law school, he was an associate at Shearman & Sterling, where he specialized in bank lending and corporate financing transactions. Thereafter, he spent almost 20 years working on a variety of financing and investment banking matters as a Managing Director and Counsel in the Legal Department at Bankers Trust Company.  Immediately before joining the firm, he spent two years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as Counsel specializing in UCC Article 9 transactions.
